Milk & Honey Nook is a space to share all things home building, home decor, family + marriage. This brand was created out of the need for a dedicated space to share personal snippets of life and making a house a home.

A Smidge of Sarah

My name is Sarah (go figure) and I am a digital lifestyle content creator, model, small business owner and full time account manager for a distribution company here in Chicago. As you can tell, I juggle many different hats (sometimes gracefully) and still make  time to stop and smell the roses. I aspire to inspire others to live their best lives—all while balancing life, work, business and everything in between!

I honestly do not even know where to begin. Yohanna is truly one of a kind. She is extremely humble, passionate, and talented. When I look back at the idea I had in my head to the designs that Yohanna was able to create, I am at a loss for words. I am beyond pleased with everything! She has helped me to understand all aspects of branding and she is invested in making sure that she delivers quality work. I think her design process is truly what makes this experience great. She takes the necessary steps to help you actualize your ideas as well as provide her with the information to understand your ideas before jumping in to designing. I am still in awe at how she was able to bring my ideas to life EXACTLY how I envisioned them.

Yohanna is extremely patient, understanding, and flexible. I honestly do not know how she does it. From being a mother, wife, and business owner, Yohanna does not let that stop her from giving her clients the attention that they need. I also love that she uses Asana. It helps to not only keep her organized but to hold her clients accountable as well. With each section of your project you are asked for feedback where you are able to be transparent and I really appreciate the space to do that.

I am beyond grateful for Yohanna and my experience with her. She has given me a gift that is immeasurable and I will forever be thankful. So again, thank you!

My Prayer Space

I've had my very own prayer space in my home since 2016 and it has been my favorite place to meet with God! It is where I've grown and strengthened a personal relationship with Him. Seeing others grow within their walk with Christ is my passion. Seeing someone experience true restoration and get reconnected to their faith brings me joy.

“Whew! Where do I even BEGIN with Yohanna? This whole process of starting my business has been almost effortless because of her. She came highly recommended by a friend after I saw how my friend's website and social media templates looked so clean, minimal, yet beautiful... I knew immediately I was going to work with Yohanna. She is SO organized, she communicates effectively, she brought my vision alive based off a few photos and an initial questionnaire that she provided, she asked the RIGHT questions to pull answers out of me that I didn't know was there to help shape my brand to be as cohesive and as beautiful as it could be...and did I say she's organized? I am a first time user of Squarespace, and Adobe XD and she understood that.

So at the end I received videos on how to use my own website, and how to use Adobe XD with her voice going over the details and so much more. She is literally a one stop shop for your brand. She did my logos, brand book, service PDF guide, business cards, thank you cards, WEBSITE, and out of the kindness of her heart threw extra things in there because once she gets started it's as if she takes on your business as if it's her own. She even read through my blog to copy edit it. My experience has been a blessing. There's so much more I could say. But I"ll leave it at this... if you have a nudging on your heart of a passion project you've been wanting to see come alive, but don't know where to begin or even if you just have a business idea you've been sitting on....consult and hire Yohanna. The brand was born in 2018 when I was pregnant with baby #2, with the idea of being able to relate to other moms, since I had become a mom at 21 and struggled with postpartum anxiety. I wanted all moms + women to understand that life doesn’t end at motherhood. It has now become a community of amazing women & families on Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, and on the blog, who I connect and share my passions with.

Cup of Consuella is more than a blog – it is a safe space for women. It is a resource for women. It is a landing pad for all things family and motherhood, shattering glass ceilings, empowering women, and having the confidence to bet on yourself. Women simply cannot be confined into one title, and Cup of Consuella will certainly reflect that. At the very core of this space, I hope I am able to connect with you, through words and experiences as I navigate through life one day at a time.

Love Speaks is a project focused on emotional health — a space where people can see that they are not alone when it comes to the trials life brings. The purpose of this space is to convey a message that will show people how simple acts of genuine love and respect have the power to change lives.
